Before you arrive
Safety requirements & yard policies
Propane & pressurized tanks
All propane tanks and pressurized tanks must be completely emptied and have a hole punched in them prior to drop-off. No exceptions.
Mowers, engines & equipment
All mowers, engines, and motorized equipment must have all oils, fuels, and fluids completely drained before arrival.
Unloading by our team only
For insurance purposes, all unloading must be performed exclusively by Durant Iron & Metal employees. Please remain with your vehicle.
We do not sell to the public. Durant Iron & Metal exclusively resells processed metal to established metal recyclers. We are not able to sell material to individuals, contractors, or small resellers.

What we do not accept
Items we are unable to take

Catalytic converters
We do not accept catalytic converters at this time.
Appliances & water heaters
We do not have the required permits to accept appliances or water heaters, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and water heaters.
Whole vehicles
We do not hold the required permits to accept whole vehicles. Fully stripped and cut bare metal can be accepted.
